Provo was Amsterdam anarchist movement that existed only two years (1965-1967), although its existence echoes resonated in the Netherlands and abroad for years. Provo Movement activism to their conceptual and speculative policy proposals (called White plans) dominated the imagination of an entire generation and forever influenced the form of Dutch political and cultural scene. It was part of an artistic movement and partly a political party - Provo was free group, comprising individuals with different ambitions: subversive plans, artistic motives, utopian ideas or specific projects. From 1965 to 1967, these incentive programs and for short periods overlapped and gave rise to a unique movement. The movement, which in 1967 declared itself wipe out an act of "self-provocation".
