招き猫は江戸時代から、商売繁盛の縁起物です。一般的に、右手を挙げているのは「開運招福」といって金運や幸運を招き、左手を挙げているのは「千客万来」といってお客を招くとされています。
8036は、招き猫に加え、幸せを呼ぶ鳥・ふくろうを描いたものも用意しました。

Maneki-neko, also known as the welcoming cat, is a cat shaped Japanese figurine, believed to bring good luck. A common belief is that the right paw raised brings good luck and wealth, while a left paw brings in customers. 8036 decorated the Maneki-neko with an owl, a symbol of happiness.
