When I was a child, I felt uncomfortable when my classmates asked me, "What did your parents do (for a living)?" Today, I am proud to say they did LABOR WORKS! With the minimal wages they earned, which was around $5 per hour, they managed to support 5 children: 1 was in elementary, 3 were in high school, and 1 was in college. After 5 years arrived in USA, my folks paid off the debt that they owed their friends who helped to pay our airplane tickets, and they have excess money to buy a house in the good neighborhood for me to go to a "better" school. About 10 years ago, they sponsored my eldest sister, her husband, and my niece to come over the State. With the helps of my parents, all of us graduated college with no student loan debt! Now, tell me how many people could provide all of that to their children with paychecks of about $5/hr before tax WITHOUT the public welfare!!!
I love my husband of 15 years. Together we raised two wonderful kids. Now its just me and him and we want to reconnect with each other.
I work at a daycare center and I enjoy it. I will be doing this forever.
