I've been living in Italy since 2000 when I met my husband (online).
I'm raising two boys with 3 languages. We live in an area where there are two intermingled cultures: Italian and German. The streets and parking spaces here are tiny and narrow, just like the refrigerators and dishwashers. I love the sound of a prosecco cork popping. I roll my eyes at long rambling messages left on my answering machine. I get seafood for free from my husband's fish shop. My hair is going gray and I've decided to embrace it. My older son thinks I am the President. I prefer stability to thrills. I try not to let other people's monkeys jump on my back. I haven't found any of my chakras, but would like to someday.
