- After completing my graduate research at the University of Tokyo, I worked at a large food manufacturer working as a researcher. I then worked in an IT venture company where I was involved in launching new projects.
After the company went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, I set up my own company, EcoBrand, in 2008. At EcoBrand, I worked as a consultant supporting companies to launch their environmental programmes.
I also formed an organization, SONRAKU LLP (a limited liability partnership) implementing projects to make mountain regions more sustainable.
From 2011 I moved to Mimasaka City and have been involved in the regeneration of rice terraced fields and maintaining the "Satoyama" eco-system.
My dream is for Japan to become a “nation of the environment, and a role model for the world”.
I believe that the combination of Japanese technology and ancient wisdom can contribute to achieving a more sustainable society in the world.

首都圏を中心に、ecoコンや甲州キッチンスタジアムなど、環境活動を楽しく進める「エコジョイメント活動」を手がけた仕掛けニスト。㈱エコブランドを経営しています。
2011年からは岡山県美作市に移住して、持続可能な森づくりの先進事業を立ち上げるべく活動中。その他、耕作放棄地や棚田の用水路といったコスト要素を収益事業化させる新規事業立案が得意分野。

☆性格としては、かなり合理的・理性的なタイプなので、よく冷たいとか協調性がないとか言われます。本人はなかなかそんな自分を気に入っています。
☆議論するよりも、実践を通して試行錯誤しながら最適解を修正して見つけていくことが好きです。失敗は多いですが、その分いろいろな引き出しが増えていると思って日々楽しんでおります。
